Always a great experience at Axis! The staff at Axis are always so welcoming and nice. I regularly have my cupping/acupuncture appointment with Erika and I always feel brand new after every session! Erika does a quick check-in every appointment I have with her about my overall health/well-being/concerns so I can get the best out of every therapy session! 12/10 I always leave extra relaxed and happier every time!Also, if you want to de-stress, I highly recommend Rupal for massage therapy! Rupal has the ability to make sure you feel at ease and comfortable throughout the massage. Gary gives painful, but incredibly helpful, effective massages. Always feel like my back is good as new when I'm walking out of the therapy room.Service at the front is always nice, everything is super clean, and generally one of the nicest facilities I've been in for RMT/Physio/Chiro.
Been getting massages here for a year now, customer service is very friendly and outgoing. Have seen a couple of return customers so their doing something good if people keep coming back.Make sure to talk to them about what your looking for and what you need. Great Centre, went here for pain I’ve been having due to a strained muscle. All the staff were very friendly and inviting! My RMT was very knowledgeable and ensured to answer all my questions! Also made the process very comfortable.

It’s only my second time ever getting a massage so I was a bit nervous. Was having some back pain and needed to get some help. A friend recommended I book with Rupal. She was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and knew the right questions to ask to get to know my pain level and origin. Being my first time working with Rupal, she explained exactly what areas she’s going to massage, how the appointment will go and asked if I was okay with it, giving me the opportunity to change things up if I wanted to. I appreciated this very much I felt comfortable and safe!! Booked another appointment with her in 2 weeks! Very pleased overall.

Amazing and polite staff. I had to deal with a shoulder instability issue in order to get back into playing sports again. My physiotherapist Navraj helped me build up my shoulder strength as well as teaching me how to prime/activate the accessory muscles that will help my shoulder. What I like about Axis is that they will work with you and give you helpful exercises that isn't just a short-term solution.
My partner and I have had a wonderful at Axis with Nav as our PT. He is very knowledgeable, approachable and incredible helpful. The Axis team has been amazing setting up our appointments back to back so we don't have to commute over twice. Highly recommend signing up for an initial consultation if you're on the fence of getting an injuries looked after. Erika is my go to for cupping and acupuncture. Erika has a wealth of knowledge about her craft and profession. She also makes you feel very comfortable and tailors your session based on how you’re feeling at the time.Axis in general is very clean, modern and their online system is very user friendly. I really appreciate being able to log in and reschedule my appointments when I want without having to call.
I had a physiotherapy appointment with Anker earlier this week, and a massage appointment with Rupal. Both Anker and Rupal are very nice and knowledgeable. I felt good after my appointments, I definitely recommend!
This was my first time doing sports massage therapy and not only did it provide me with so much relief but Andrew was amazingly informative. He is very knowledgeable and professional, during our session he talked me through his techniques as he performed his assessment and therapy. My session with Andrew emphasized that caring for your body comes in many forms and encouraged me to continually put in the extra effort to strengthen and stretch out parts of my body that I never realized could impact my day to day life so much. I’m looking forward to learning more and utilizing the information to best benefit my goals in training and health maintenance. I definitely recommend everyone to try it out, it’s worth every penny. (Also fair warning tho this man’s hands are brutal)
Been going to Rex for FST for about 4-5 years now for various reasons. Rex helped me resolve my sciatica symptoms years ago. I also get some work done for my back and each session is a relief. Plus, the improvement in my mobility is evident.Overall, the clinic is nice and very welcoming; smooth process as always. Axis Scarborough's new location is much nicer than the previous one too.Definitely recommended.

Pha-ly is an excellent physiotherapist especially if you are seeking pelvic floor rehabilitation and lower back pain management. Her massage is fantastic!I liked the new location ,it is wide and clean and easy accessible. Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. I would strongly recommend this place.
The treatment was amazing! Michelle was my chiropractor and she did a good job. I came in for a neck pain and she assessed and treated it well. It feels relaxed and I will be seeing her soon for the next session!

My job can be very hard on the body. I've been treated by many RMTs, chiropractors, and physiotherapists trying to curb nagging issues over many years. Almost nothing has been as effective in treating my issues as fascia stretching.Rex is a true master in his art. I am grateful that his techniques can finally help start my journey to being pain-free.

Had the pleasure of working with Nav after Axis came to Boulder Parc. He was very professional and rarely used modalities while he does treatment. He was able to pinpoint where my tightness came from and actively tried to make it looser. The clinic was also very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Their newly located and updated Scarborough location is also stunning and matches their level of commitment - to provide the best care possible. Pha-Ly helped me SO MUCH in just 1 session with Pelvic Floor Physio! With pains I had for almost 2 years that had been dismissed by an OB and GP. She asks insightful questions about your whole body, not just the problem area. The best is that she takes to time to explain the problem, her approach and how you will work with her to heal. Already recommending!

Where do I even begin? Picture this: walking into the clinic feeling all nervous and uncertain, but being greeted by (what appears to be) the entire staff - celebratory jazz hands up as if I've just finished a marathon. Turns out I was the first patient of the day in their new location, but it was heartwarming and it completely brightened my day, nonetheless. The session itself was also top-notch! I had the pleasure of receiving treatment from Nav, who exudes a rare blend of understanding, knowledge and empathy that immediately put me at ease. Throughout the session, he patiently explained each exercise and technique, ensuring I understood the purpose and benefits. Long story short, if you're looking for a physiotherapist who knows their stuff, makes you feel like you're chatting with a buddy, and genuinely cares about your well-being, look no further than Nav. My very first experience at Axis with Rex at the Scarbrough location was very pleasant.
Rupal is amazing at what she does as a Registered Massage Therapist. She is very knowledgeable as a college professor (e.g. anatomy) and understands the body very well. She has great "bedside" manner and matches your energy re: whether you're the type to talk, which I most often do, or stay quiet. She is great at explaining what she is doing as well. I always feel better after a visit with Rupal.Rex is awesome as a Fascial Stretch Therapist. As a trauma survivor my range and flexibility does not have as much range compared to people who don't have physiological manifestations of trauma. Rex knows what he is doing, very knowledgable, and the stretch I get is amazing. He , like Rupal, has great bedside manner. I hope to regain my range. Rex also did dry needling for my traps, and OMG, why have I never done dry needling? I can definitely feel a difference after just one brief session of needling.Pha-ly is a member of the Axis team who I recenly saw for the first time. She is kind and listens carefully to what your concerns are and then does her magic. She has done accupuncture and cupping in my session. The pain I came in with regarding anterior tibialis muscle...magically disappeared after she deeply massaged and administered accupuncture. I am hoping to get similar done to my other leg, and also get dry needling done for upper to lower traps combined with cupping. Pha-ly is also a pelvic physiotherapist and I am looking forward to learning more about that aspect of her expertise.I would highly recommend all three, and all three practioners compliment one another on my healing journey.Axis is a great clinic with a multi-service team.
I went to Axis today for my very first physio with Phay-ly. From the front desk to Phay-ly to even the manager making her presence known. The experience was the best of the best. This team is so knowledgeable and I can tell they really focus on their client experience. The service was wonderful and I can’t wait to see her and the team again.

I had a fantastic experience during my first visit to the chiropractor with Dr.Smit Desai ! The staff was welcoming, and the chiropractor took the time to thoroughly assess my needs. I saw Pha-Ly for pelvic floor physiotherapy during my pregnancy. She did a great job explaining everything in details. Most importantly, she was patient and addressed all sort of my questions/concerns! I highly recommend seeing Pha-Ly if you are someone who’s pregnant and anxious about giving birth. She will show you exercises and tips to help prepare you for natural birth.
Giving this rating not for the person who attended me but for the unprofessional front desk person who booked my appointment in a tone of recklessness, they simply booked me for a chiropractor without properly listening to my case, and my comfort zone. I am never gonna visit them again and better suggest everyone to stay out of this place, $135 for half an hour of chit chat, not at all worthy.
My usual place to go for treatment and just nice massage. I’ve been to different specialist and every one of them is good. Dr. David Oh was saving my back already couple of times. Girls on reception are very friendly and helpful. I totally recommend this place.

I'm a huge believer in Fascial Stretch Therapy for everyone, whether you're a competitive athlete, looking to improve mobility or just looking to correct some muscle tightness/knots. Rex is my go-to guy for FST, you'd be hard pressed to find someone in Toronto that is better than him with what he does. Very perceptive as to how intense each individual patient can handle and is always trying to give you the best value for the time you book with him. Had a 2 hour appointment today and it couldn't have been better!
My experience at the Axis Therapy was fantastic. Erica first completely understood my case and according to that she gave me the treatment for Chiro and acupuncture. They are highly professional and treat you really well. The prices are quite reasonable too. I would surely recommend who needs the right kind of treatment for their physical ailments. Well the back is not being freindly to me again, so I went to see Ankar for some Physiotherapy and she remembered my condition and was able to provide some treatment which gave me some relief. Her friendly smile and great conversation puts you at ease as she works on those pain centres with great expertise.

Smit does a great job 👏Edit: whatever he did to relieve my pelvis pain has now caused a great deal of back pain (that I've never had before). It comes and goes, but it's just annoying considering I've never had any lower back issues..

My experience with Axis was good. I found it on internet. It had many positive reviews and was close to my home, so I booked an appointment with Dr Smit. He was very friendly and professional and explained everything he was doing. He adjusted my spine and gave me some exercises to do at home.

I went to Axis in scarborough for the first time for physiotherapy because I sprained my ankle. I was skeptical about how effective it would be. After my first session with Rohan I was able to walk better. He gave me exercises to do at home. He was also very knowledgeable, professional and and punctual. All the staff that I interacted with were professional and pleasant. I would definitely recommend Axis!

He gets straight to the point and is able to identify areas of concern very quickly. I was told about Axis and wanted to try it. Since I have not been treated for quit sometime, I decided to start with a consultation. pha-ly was amazing, my back felt great afterwards and her exercises really worked. I then decided to get a massage. Doing both of these released a lot of pressure in my body and could feel the difference in my muscles. Thank Axis and staff, I will recommend this to all my friends.

They misinformed me into getting a service done and did not tell me my insurance denied the claim and proceeded with service which forced me to pay out of pocket. Front desk make excuses for their unprofessional mistakes like it's your fault for them not informing you. Not happy about the attitude when they dealing with customers.

Great customer service first of all. The receptionist was proactive to do my insurance claim before I started my appointment so if issues arise, she can inform me. I had a fascial therapy with Rex. He is very polite, friendly, most importantly able to go through my sore points effectively. I initially came in to relieve my lower back and neck. He is able to recognize my pecs and upper back needing attention as well. I have been looking for a decent place I can visit regularly for physical therapy and this place is definitely recommended.
Rohan has been my physio for the last 3 months, and honestly changed everything for me. I couldn’t recommend him more. Not only is he a knowledgeable physio, he cares so much about his clients and it makes all the difference.As an athlete when you have a big injury like ACL, it takes a toll on you physically and emotionally. Rohan was knowledgeable, hands-on and immensely helpful in coming up with an individualized rehab plan for me. This was hard given the context I decided not to get surgery, and manually strengthen instead. Rather than giving random exercises, he was evidence based and knew exactly which exercises would help for what. And he was very prompt in answering all my questions.Rohan was also the first person I contacted when I got bad MRI news, or was panicking about my health. And he was always a safe space, and never let me quit on myself. Half of the physio battle is mental, in terms of doubting yourself and your recovery. But Rohan was immensely helpful in pushing me to help me stay on track with my goals.Could not recommend him more, you will be in good hands 🙂

I recently started seeing Pha-Ly Ho for physiotherapy sessions for my torn rotator cuff from several years of boxing. I was in extreme pain and after seeking two sessions with her, I felt an instant relief. She alleviated the tightness in my shoulder, back and neck areas, provided exercises and performed cupping as a treatment. I’m confident in her ability to treat my injury and highly recommend Axis Therapy. I will definitely be continuing treatment with Pha-Ly. She’s amazing!

I've been coming to Axis Therapy for about 2 years now! Kat is my massage therapist and Tiffany is my chiropractor. Both Kat and Tiffany are amazing ! Kat provides the right amount of conversation, relaxation while I get my massage and leaves me feeling great. Tiffany has helped me ease my pains from my neck, back and feet! They both also provides me with overall advice on what to focus on and how to stretch at the end of each session.The centre is also very welcoming and clean!

I have just recently been seeing Dr. Oh regarding my neck pain/tightness and so far so good. He’s been able to pin point the problem and given me great adjustments and exercises to help the area. Staff is always friendly and the office is always clean and inviting.

Having never seen a chiro before and hating massages, I went into see Dr. Tiffany for some back issues. She was the absolute best! Only second time with Rohan and going to Axis but I’m happy I’ve found him. My Quadricep Tendon Rupture surgery was not one that’s done everyday. Rohan works with knee patients, expertly, knowledgeably and is very thorough & patient.I would feel more comfortable though leaving my appointments with a handout as a reminder of my daily exercises with instructions. This would ensure I don’t forget them and the proper way to do them.

Poor experience with anker. Appointments became more and more stale after each visit. I didn't like being left in the room with needles in me for 99% of the time and then charged a premium rate. My injury also did not get resolved. The facility is nice and modern, reception is warm and welcoming, and other therapists have been great, but I initially came for the number of great reviews and how well the company is active on Instagram, thinking this place was different from the other rehab clinics. I have gone to places where they just use machines or assistants who don't really do anything but milk your insurance in a money hungry way. If this is how each appointment is now, and this is the direction the company is going in then i would recommend going somewhere else.
Kat is awesome and takes the time to understand what’s been going on before the session starts to target what needs the most attention. She’s super personable and makes u feel comfortable. the staff all around has been a pleasure to deal with.

I saw Erika at axis for acupuncture and cupping. When I tell you I felt like a noodle after this treatment LOL. Everything that normally feels tight was so relaxed. She was very informative and caring towards my issues. I can’t wait to go back. I would strongly recommend this treatment to any athlete.

I stumbled across Axis on Google some months back. I am someone who likes pressure- lots of it. I get that from the staff at Axis plus more. Everyone you interact with is friendly and they do an excellent job at making you feel relaxed and comfortable. My go to guy is Gary. If you can handle pressure, he is your guy. I just had a 60 minute session today and although I wanted to "tap out" mid way, I had to hold it in. It's a bitter sweet feeling. Highly recommend these guys. You will not be disappointed

I've been seeing Gary the past year for massage (RMT) and Rohan recently for physiotherapy. Both are very professional, knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns. I always leave happy.Booking an appointment is really convenient online. Haven't had any issues with processing of insurance.Parking outside can be limited during the middle of the day but I am usually able to get a spot fairly quickly.I would definitely recommend this clinic!

Carolyn did a great job in tending to the specific area I had trouble with in my back while also getting rid of other tight spots I wasn’t aware of. Beyond the massage itself, we had great conversation over the other services Axis offers that will be beneficial as well as tips for stretching and overall conditioning so I can be my best self when I go back to work. Emma gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. We discussed my problem areas before starting and I was surprised at how intuitive she was. I felt the full effects of the one-hour deep tissue massage and was sad to see the time was already up! Very impressed overall 🙂

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Axis. I am a physiotherapy student and I already know where I will be applying once I graduate! The customer experience from the initial call to the front desk and to the therapist is flawless and seamless. I felt like they actually cared and was taken care of every step of the way. I love that they don't use machines or send me off to assistants. The hands on approach has helped me more than what the other clinics provided me. I also love the vibe of the space and the team, they clearly all love what they do, have fun, and speak highly of each other. I have been to other clinics like Myodetox or Evolve, and although they are great and have a similar model, its the customer care from the front desk, positive environment, and the quick results my gf and I received that would put Axis above the rest. Dr.Lim(b) - pun intended- is amazing.She’s incredibly patient and you get a real sense that she not only cares about you as a patient, but also you as a person.After every session I feel encouraged and excited to for what exercises and goals that she sets for me to help myself!I’ve finally found a chiropractor that actually does their job diligently and is caring.
Staff are so welcoming and friendly. An easygoing environment that is clean and well maintained. Received FST with Rex and was not disappointed. He always makes sure that I am comfortable and is super attentive during every appointment I've been to. I'm feeling stronger, flexible and now able to do more and get more out of my workouts.

With so many good reviews, I am sure that they are all wonderful professionals, and I started with Dr. Edward and wow, he was amazing! I didn't feel the need to ask a lot of questions as I could feel that I was in good hands. Dr. Edward is an awesome chiropractor, he knows what he does, truly professional. Front desk staff is very friendly and pleasant. And of course, the clinic is very clean. Great experience!

I love this place. It’s my Go To. Dr. Ed is wonderful and so is the rest of the team. I’ve been doing accupuncture on my ankle due to swelling and Dr. Ed is simply amazing. He’s so nice and welcoming, and very educated. He makes you feel very comfortable. The entire staff is awesome as well. They answer any questions in regards to insurance which is really helpful.Thank you guys for everything ☺️

No, you do not need a doctor’s referral to come to our clinics. However, check with your insurance company to see if you need one for reimbursement. If you have any ultrasound/x-ray/MRI/CT results, please bring them in! Your physiotherapist, chiropractor, massage therapist or naturopathic doctor can review the results with you.
