Elise first earned her Bachelor of Science, studying Physiology with a minor in Psychology, at McGill University, where she built a strong foundation in understanding how the body and mind work together. After graduating, she worked as a personal trainer, supporting clients in building strength, confidence, and healthy movement habits. This experience deepened her passion for rehabilitation and reaffirmed her aspiration of pursuing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy, which she went on to complete at Queen’s University. Here, she refined her clinical skills and broadened her experience working with diverse patient populations. Elise’s interest in rehabilitation grew through years of personal involvement in fitness and strength training, alongside her early and ongoing fascination with how the body adapts, heals, and thrives through movement.
Elise takes a warm, collaborative, and holistic approach. She focuses on building movement confidence through tailored exercise programs, education, and manual techniques. Her goal isn’t just short-term relief, but helping her patients to build long-term resilience so they can keep doing the activities that bring them joy – whether that’s sport, work, family life, or simply moving about their daily lives with more ease. She values creating a space where patients feel empowered to take ownership of their progress, while also feeling heard and supported as they work toward meaningful and sustainable achievements.
Outside the clinic, Elise enjoys running and powerlifting, adventuring to a new campsite in the backcountry, and attending live music events.
