Carol is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Massage Therapy Diploma Program at Bryan College in the spring. Originally, Carol attended post-secondary for Musical Theatre and formally trained as a Dancer, however, after a decade of working with people in the Arts, Film and Television Industry, Carol decided to pursue her true passion – helping and improving the lives of other people. This led to her decision to return to school to become an RMT.
Alongside Swedish massage, Carol enjoys incorporating various manual techniques such as PNF Stretch Therapy, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Joint Mobilization, Deep Tissue Massage, Cupping Therapy (Certified April 2025), Constipation Massage, TMJ Massage (Intra & Extra Oral), Scar Mobilization Techniques, Breast Tissue Manipulation (post surgery or mastitis), Pregnancy Massage and Hydrotherapy as a part of her treatment. She loves prescribing Remedial Exercise as a part of home care as she believes that treatment continues past the Massage Table, and emboldens her clients to take ownership in their treatment goals and work in small ways each day to reach those goals, relieve their pain, and decrease their stress. Carol’s background in Dance gives her a greater understanding of the mind-body connection and she is mindful of this while working with each of her clients. Carol lives by the motto: “Movement should be celebrated, not taken for granted.
In her free time, Carol loves to dance, take Pilates classes, sing karaoke, and cuddle her cat, Mango.
