Brooke Hogben

Brooke began her journey at the University of Waterloo, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an option in Aging Studies. During her time in the co-op program, she gained hands-on experience in long-term care settings and ergonomics placements, which deepened her understanding of movement, function, and the aging process. After working as a physiotherapy assistant in long-term care for a year, she was motivated to pursue her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Toronto.
Her interest in pelvic health started during her undergraduate studies, when a professor highlighted the role of pelvic floor physiotherapy in supporting women with postpartum incontinence. The idea of helping people regain confidence and quality of life through such meaningful care sparked a passion that carried through her training and career. Since completing her degree, Brooke has obtained all three levels of certification with Pelvic Health Solutions, allowing her to treat a wide spectrum of pelvic floor conditions.
Her philosophy is simple: knowledge is power. She believes that empowering patients with education about the “whys and hows” of their symptoms creates a foundation for progress. From there, she takes an exercise-based, collaborative approach that emphasizes building sustainable tools to fit each individual’s lifestyle. She understands that health is not one-size-fits-all and works alongside patients to ensure physiotherapy is practical, empowering, and effective.
Outside of the clinic, Brooke enjoys Pilates, spending time up at the cottage, traveling with her husband, skiing in the winter season, and being with friends and family.Special clinical interests: vaginismus, chronic pelvic pain syndrome, pelvic organ prolapse, pre- and post-prostatectomy, pre- and postpartum journey, and so much more.
